Property prices for rent in Taranaki region
The average rent price in the Taranaki region has had a strong fall in recent months. There has been a strong fall in the rent prices in this region.
The price per m² in Taranaki has fallen considerably in the last 6 months. During October, the average price per m² was $3.52. The following month (November) the price had a considerable fall reaching $2.14 per m². The following two months (December, January) went through a considerable fall of 55 % in the rent price per m² with regard to the previous two. In the last two months, the price per m² has had a significant rise of 122 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price of $2.19 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price of $2.67 per m² for the last two months (February, March).
When referring to the price in Taranaki(region), there have hardly been any changes in the last 6 months. In the first month sample October the average price is $625. In November the price remains at $638. In the following two months the average price practically remained the same compared to the previous two going from $631.5 to $623.5. During the last two months the average price has not gone through any changes and has gone from $627.5 to $618.5 during February and March.

They are 36 % cheaper than the average price in Taranaki followed by those with 2 with an average price of $548. The most expensive properties have 4 bedrooms. They are 66 % more expensive than the average followed by those properties with 3 bedrooms priced at $644.
Based on the average price per m² those properties with 2 bedrooms are the most affordable ones with a price of $1 / m² being $3.74 / m² the average for Taranaki. The properties with the lowest average price are those with 1 bedroom. These are 20 % more affordable than the average followed by those with 3 bedrooms with a price of $2 / m².
Based on the average price per property type in Taranaki the most expensive one with a price of $662 is "House" which is 11 % more costly than the average property. "House" has the most expensive price being 11 % more costly than the average aforementioned.
