Property prices for rent in Auckland region
The average rent price in the Auckland region has had an strong rise in recent months. There has been a strong rise in the rent prices in this region.
The price per m² in Auckland has risen considerably in the last 6 months. During October, the average price per m² was $0.92. In November the price barely changed remaining at $0.88 per m². In the following two months (December, January) the rent price per m² has increased notably to a 206 %. In the last two months, the price per m² has had a significant rise of 307 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price of $1.38 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price of $4.22 per m² for the last two months (February, March).
When referring to the price in Auckland(region), this has risen considerably in the last 6 months. In the first month sample October the average price is $696. In November the price remains at $714. The price in the following months (December, January) had a strong rise of 353 % going from $705 to $2,486. During the last two months the price has gone up 114 % compared to the previous average values going from $1,595.5 a $1,814 in February y March.

They are 80 % cheaper than the average price in Auckland followed by those with 2 with an average price of $581. The most affordable properties have 4 bedrooms. They are 65 % cheaper than the average followed by those properties with 3 bedrooms priced at $683.
Based upon the average prices per m², those properties with 1 bedroom are 79 % more affordable than the average ($1 / m²) in Auckland. The properties with the lowest bedrooms / m² price are those with 1 bedroom. They are 79 % more affordable than the average aforementioned.

With an average cost of $2,401 it is 78 % cheaper than the average in Auckland. This is followed by "" with a cost of $729. The most affordable property type is "" and is 70 % cheaper than the average, followed by "Apartment" with a cost of $526.
Based upon the average price per m², the most affordable property type is "Apartment with an average cost of $1 / m². "Apartment" which has the lowest average price of $1 / m² would be present in a less affluent region.
